Book report 1 :)

Posted by: | April 30, 2012 | 3 Comments |

I have just finished reading Wonder struck and I think that it is the most amazing story i have ever read.

It is a story about a 10 year old boy named Ben from Gun-flint Lake, Minnesota in june 1977. Ben is deaf and it’s hard to be deaf in a world of people that don’t understand you. He is living in a house with his aunt and uncle. His mum had died in a terrible car accident. In this story he runs away from home to find his dad so he travels to new york, Manhattan.

He also meats a boy called Jamie and they find a hidden room in a museum.

If you are interested in this sort of book you should give it a read to find out more about the story because it is now one of my favourite stories.

welcome back

Hi and welcomto the year 2012.

This year there are lots of new blogs to explore. There are many people in our school that are verry keen to set up there own blogs.  If you are one of these people here are a few things that you might want to concider putting on your blog. Vokis- vokis are like a littel avatar that you can create. With your voki you first need to click on the littel link on the word that is blue that says voki to get into the site. When you are in you need to create your voki by choosing from the different bits and pieces on your screen like hair, mouth, nose, Eyes and all that. Next you need to type in a littel box to tell the program what you want your voki to say and once you get a teacher to help you put it on your blog she\he will say it.

There are also animals you can put on your blogs by going to the link on animals you can name colour feed and lots of that sort of thing with your animal once again you might want to get a teacher to help you with this.

There are lots more things you can do on your blog but i am going to let you find them out for yourselves.

Have fun on your blogs bye bye :)

you might think that the footy season is over now that the grand final has been won by the MIGHTY GEELONG CATS but its not the players have to keep training hard for next year player shave many things that they need to test but one of them is vertical jump they have to jump as high as they can to touch the plastic measure and if they can they pretty much have a chance of being in th team. Young players are at a camp in Melbourne training for the footy as well so one day they could have a spot in the team on the big stage and maby even win a GRAND FINAL…

Fun Science BTN

Posted by: | September 28, 2011 | 1 Comment |

Not many kids are choosing science as the subject that they would like to be passionate about. Most science shows you about the seances taste smell sight hearing and touch. Indigenous students from a boarding school in Darwin go to the beach to learn stuff about the plants and wildlife. The kids love it  and so do the teachers.

Some scientists love the plants and wildlife like Brendon a kid that was given an award for his video about snakes and another girl that made one about stick insects.
